Post Publications Name Burt Stein As Business Editor

SANATOGA PA – Burton J. “Burt” Stein, a financial information editor with more than 25 years of experience at some of the world’s leading investment firms, has been named business editor of The Post Publications and will help provide local business news coverage for The Sanatoga Post, The Limerick Post, The Pottstown Post, and The Main Street Post, the online news services’ managing editor, Joe Zlomek, announced Tuesday (June 5, 2012).

“Burt’s agreement to help The Posts boost their business news coverage is welcomed at a time when readers tell us they’re increasingly interested in hearing more about what’s happening at the stores they frequent, the companies they buy from, and the licensed professionals they rely on,” Zlomek said. “We’re delighted to have his assistance.”

Stein has spent the bulk of his professional career researching, writing and explaining to others the ins-and-outs of global economics, securities, commodities, financial management, retirement and estates in clear, precise, and easily understood language. He has worked as a senior editor, research editor, editor or copy editor for IndexUniverse LLC, Adams Consulting Group LLC, Morgan Joseph TriArtisan LLC, Barclays Capital Inc., the former Lehman Brothers Inc., Smith Barney, and the former E.F. Hutton & Co.

He and his wife, Flo, have spent considerable time in and are familiar with southeastern Pennsylvania, as well as New Jersey, New York, and Florida.
