LIMERICK PA – Think of this as video-conferencing-to-go.
ePlus inc., a Virginia-based technology solutions provider that operates offices on West Ridge Pike in Limerick, said Tuesday (June 19, 2012) it had begun offering customers a low-cost alternative for whole-room video conferencing that does not need to be permanently installed but is “equivalent to the best fixed installations.”
Called ePlus Advantage Portable Video Conferencing, the modular equipment can be easily moved and quickly set-up to meet customer demand. It is based on Cisco technology and allows customers to choose one of four configurations to fit their needs, requirements, and budget. The set-up includes a mobile video cart, installation and implementation, and managed services, and is capable of serving up to 50 users or video endpoints with five simultaneous video calls.
