CVS Plans To Open Retail Pharmacy In Exton LocationEXTON PA – CVS Caremark Corporation, the parent of the CVS Pharmacy retail chain, plans to build an almost 12,000-square-foot store at the corner of Pottstown Pike and Boot Road in West Whiteland Township, the municipality reported last week (Oct. 5, 2012) in a legal advertisement. The text of the notice follows:

PUBLIC NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ACTION

Pursuant to Section 108 of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (“MPC”), notice is hereby given that on September 26, 2012, the West Whiteland Township Board of Supervisors (“Board”) entered into a decision to grant final land development plan approval (“Decision”) to Pennsylvania CVS Pharmacy, LLC c/o Summit Realty Advisors, LLC (“Applicant”) for construction of an approximately 11,945 square foot CVS Pharmacy and associated parking on a property located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Pottstown Pike and Boot Road in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania (“Property”).

The Property is further identified as Chester County UPI Nos. 41-5-143 and 41-5-144 and is zoned NC Neighbor Commercial District.

The full text of the Decision may be reviewed by members of the public at the Township Municipal Building located at 101 Commerce Drive, Exton, Pennsylvania 19341 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. This publication is intended to provide notification of the issuance of the Decision. Any person claiming the right to challenge the validity of the Decision to approve the Application must bring a legal action within thirty (30) days of the second publication of this notice. Any appeal or action contesting the validity of the Decision based on a procedural or substantive defect shall be dismissed, with prejudice, as untimely if not filed within the thirtieth (30th) day following the second publication of this notice.

This notice is filed on behalf of Pennsylvania CVS Pharmacy, LLC c/o Summit Realty Advisors, LLC, 610 West Germantown Pike, Suite 100, Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania 19462.
