First-Of-Its-Kind Pottstown Grocery Store Marks 75 Years

Brunish’s, famous in Pottstown and across the world for its hot dogs and hot sausage sandwiches, opened in 1937. But the notion of a corner grocery store selling what is now known as “fast food” was an oddity and rarity when founder Dan Brunish began the practice in 1955. The business is still in the family, and thriving. |
