Royersford Builder Praised For Municipal Collaboration

ROYERSFORD PA – What happens when municipalities and private sector business successfully collaborate to transform old industrial properties? Something like the Riverwalk at Royersford, according to employees of the Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association.

The association recently interviewed Marshal Granor of Granor Price Homes about the multi-million dollar, high-density residential community his company built on the Royersford site of a former glass factory. Association leaders consider the project as one of “successful brownfield redevelopment(s)” that have occurred throughout the western suburbs of greater Philadelphia.

Granor discussed “the visioning efforts for the project, the processes Granor Price worked through to see those visions realized, and how various components of the project – including a 320-foot long mural – fit into the overall revitalization of Royersford,” the association said in promoting its Dec. 21 (2011) interview.
